Future Front Row | Digital Fashion Show in Riga
Project type
Digital Fashion
Date
October 1st 2026
Location
Riga, Latvia
As part of FashionTEX, a European initiative bringing together 11 fashion universities to explore the future of fashion education, Locus Solus Studio led an intensive two-week CLO 3D workshop with 24 students from across the partner institutions.
The workshop explored the intersection of digital fashion design, emerging technologies, craftsmanship, and more sustainable approaches to fashion creation and presentation. Through hands-on experimentation in CLO 3D, students developed digital garments and collections for a new kind of fashion catwalk, one that bridges virtual and physical experiences.
The project culminated in a digital and physical fashion show powered by Future Front Row and presented in Riga, Latvia, on October 1, 2026. The event brought together the students’ digital creations, physical garments, and experimental approaches to create a fashion presentation that challenged conventional boundaries between the real and the virtual.
Locus Solus Studio contributed to the project through workshop development, digital fashion education, and mentorship, supporting the next generation of designers in exploring new tools and ways of thinking about fashion.
A collaborative project made possible through the dedication of Isabelle Udo, the FashionTEX partner universities, mentors, experts, and the 24 participating designers.
